About Me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I hold both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, as well as a certificate for a two-semester intensive drug and alcohol abuse counseling program.

I have practiced in inpatient, residential, outpatient, and community based setting with adults, adolescents, and families who struggle with a wide range of challenges.

These challenges have included mental illness, addiction, relationship issues, educational issues, career choices, quality of life, and many more. I have more than  20 years of experience helping people to overcome obstacles that prevent them from fulfilling their dreams.

Over the years, I have developed a style that most of my clients find warm, welcoming, and engaging.  Many people come to me complaining that they have felt unfulfilled at prior attempts at therapy.  Often, people tell me that they wish their therapist would offer more feedback and direction. If that sounds like you, then maybe we can forge a working relationship that will allow you to feel challenged as well as validated and respected.  It is my objective that all of my therapeutic alliances incorporate trust, understanding, and a strong sense of direction. Many of my clients seem to appreciate my disarming sense of humor and genuineness.
